We – Omar, Tina and the team – opened our little haven in Berlin's vibrant food scene because we craved the flavours of the Caribbean with a modern twist right here in our kiez.
Our mission is clear: We are committed to making a positive impact, and bringing healthy food to the area with a focus on organic, veggie, gluten-free, and lactose-free options. With attention to detail and a commitment to sustainability, Tina's offers a menu that satisfies both dietary requirements and adventurous taste buds.
Omar has embraced Berlin for the last five years. Tina, a true Berliner, grew up in Prenzlauer Berg and eventually found her heart in Neukölln over 10 years ago. Together, they've created Tina's – a culinary gem where passion meets tradition, and every guest feels at home.
Omar, a true culinary artist, grew up surrounded by the tantalising scents of Dominican home-cooked meals, and his passion for reinventing those traditional tastes is what fuels our kitchen. Drawing inspiration from his New York roots and Dominican heritage, Omar crafts each dish with a personal touch, blending the warmth of family recipes with a contemporary flair.
Tina, our wonderful hostess with the mostess, runs our Front of House. When she's not charming our guests, she's pursuing her full-time job in public relations, and raising her children. Her keen eye for design choices transforms our space into a welcoming, homely space.
